In Minecraft,eggs are dropped by chickens on average, every ten minutes.  When you throw an egg, it has a one in eight chance of hatching a baby chicken.  Also, when you throw an egg, it has a one in 125 chance of hatching four baby chickens at a time.
       You will need eggs to make pumpkin pie and cakes.

Minecraft: Zombies

Zombies are hostile mobs that spawn at night or in darkness.

Zombies start to burn in the day, but if they find shade or water, they will go to it and not burn. 

Killing:
Zombies have a habit of killing villagers (zombies can break down wood doors), which will turn the villager into a villager zombie.  Zombies are slow moving, which makes them easy to kill. 

Drops:
A Zombie will frequently drop rotten flesh when killed.  They will rarely drop iron swords, shovels, helmets, zombie heads, carrots and potatoes.

Wearing Armor:
Some Zombies will spawn with armor and weapons, and 5% of zombies have the ability of picking up armor and weapons (that includes enchanted armor and weapons).

Minecraft: Trees

In minecraft, trees are very handy and help you survive.  Minecraft trees look like this:

When chopping trees, you left click with anything in your hand, and you will get a block of wood.  If you take a block of wood from the bottom of a tree, the tree will not fall down, and it will just float.

 If you chop down a tree with an axe, you will be able to cut the tree much faster than if you chop it with your fist.  Here are all the different axes:

Saplings are like seeds in minecraft, and if you have one in your hand and right-click, you will plant the sapling.  After a couple of minecraft days, your sapling will be a full grom tree!
     You get saplings from leaves, and if you destroy a leaf block a sapling might fall from the leaf.

Minecraft: Crafting tables

In minecraft, there is a very handy block called a crafting table.  It's your key to surviving in minecraft.  A crafting table is made of wood, and it allows you to create different objects, by placing different materials into different crafting squares.  Some objects must be created  in a crafting table, while some items can be created in your inventory crafting.

How to make a crafting table:
To make a crafting table, you need 1 block of wood, which you will need to divide into wooden planks.

Using a crafting table:
To use a crafting table, you need to place items into different crafting squares.  Different items need to be crafted with different items, and need to be crafted into different shapes.  For instance, this pickaxe.
